DH - Statement of Financial Entitlements (Amendment (No. 4) and Specification of National Minimum Percentage Uplift) Directions 2009 - 16 June 09

Source

The Statement of Financial Entitlements (Amendment (No. 4) and Specification of National Minimum Percentage Uplift) Directions 2009 were signed on 10 June 2009 and are for the most part effective from 1 April 2009. These amending directions are the third in a series of three changes to be made to the Statement of Financial Entitlements published in April 2005.  The primary purpose of these three amendments is to implement the agreement reached on changes to the GP contract for 2009/10, as set out in Ben Dyson's letter to SHA Directors of Commissioning on 14 October 2008 (Gateway 10704). The first two amendments to be completed, the SFE (Amendment) (No.2) Directions 2009 and the SFE (Amendment) (No.3) Directions are already published on the DH website.

This document puts in place

  • increases to certain SFE fees and allowances from 1st April 2009, linked to the recommendations in this year's Doctors' and Dentists' Review Body report
  •  minor changes to the Childhood Immunisation Scheme from 11th June 2009, and
  •  removes some redundant text
